Nashville-In their recent bi-annual Board of Directors Meeting and Risk Management Workshop in Nashville, Tennessee, BCS is proud to report that it was recognized as a top performer in Safety amongst the 25 regional members of the two-year-old organization. Surebuilt captive is a group of regional companies whose safety records and financial stability allows them to qualify as a group for self-insurance and savings on group premiums. Surebuilt uses an intricate system to evaluate member safety programs which includes a safety score card for both initial vetting and annual safety assessments.
BCS scored a 94.4 on it’s Safety Score Card for 2024 which was highlighted by no OSHA recordable incidents, an Emerging Leaders Program, a Commercial Vehicle Fleet with no accidents, use of a five-member safety team who conducts daily inspections, tracks negative safety trends and provides the most robust in-house training program in the captive. Surebuilt Safety Score Cards are reassessed annually, and member are evaluated in areas which include hiring practices, driver safety, use of commercial vehicle telematics and other technology, stability of executive team, Experience Modified Rating, loss history and more.
