On the first Saturday of June, BCS hosted a family picnic to celebrate the hard work of their employees and help them to enjoy the summer with their families. The first annual family picnic was focused on activities for children aged two to twelve and included four bouncy stations, a soccer goal, face painting and a drawing, coloring and painting station. Shade was provided by large tents and with a nice south breeze made for a perfect summer afternoon.

The menu for the event for the adults included the Texas Crab Company’s Food Truck and several grills cooked steak fajitas while there were hotdogs with all the fixings for the kids. Desserts including fresh mangoes on a stick and Tiff’s Treats cookies and ice cream. At the end of the afternoon, a raffle was held and many children received tricycles, bicycles and scooters.
