BCS and White Construction recently held a top out party with over 200 attendees at the North Loop/North Lamar project. (This is a 396,000 sq. ft, mixed use Apartment Complex on North Lamar Boulevard with 227 units over 6 elevated levels, and 120,00 square feet of subterranean parking, this is a cast-in-place concrete structure.)
Project Manager Reed Boyd complimented the BCS Field team for staying on schedule, being under budget and having zero recordable injuries at the project. Boyd also mentioned that BCS has been recognized by the general contractor for exceptional housekeeping throughout the life of the project. The BCS project team includes leaders, General Superintendent, Carlos Garcia, Superintendent Beto Garcia, Assistant Superintendent Cesar Martinez and Site Safety Manager, Jonathan Cardoza.
BCS had 45 employees on site, with an additional 20 concrete finishers and a few office personnel along with about 100 other trade workers who were all treated to a Rudy’s BBQ lunch and gift raffle. Some of the vendors who donated gifts for the vent included Falltech, White Cap, Parker Industrial, Bosch and Western Pumping.
