Savannah, Georgia | November 12
At the Surebuilt Captive’s Semi-Annual Conference, BCS was awarded the Top Performer Award in Safety for 2025. Among some of the areas evaluated were Accident Prevention, Management Commitment to Safety, Vehicle Fleet Safety, OSHA Recordables, Insurance Claim History and Company Safety Culture.
BCS has been a member of the Surebuilt Captive since 11/1/29 and members represent companies from many different states including Arizona, Texas Illinois, Georgia, Virginia and others.
Surebuilt Captive Member Candidates are evaluated based on a scoring system which requires a minimum score of 70% or the candidate may be rejected by the Surebuilt Captive’s Underwriting Committee. The members are re-evaluated annually after their policy renewal and are placed on a probationary status if their total score falls below 70%. The top member score for each year receives The Top Performer Award. BCS earned a score of 97.05% for 2025 to earn this award.
“This recognition rewards our entire team and gives us a qualified third-party assessment of the BCS Safety Culture. While many companies can claim that they prioritize safety and have a strong safety culture, few can demonstrate safety excellence on a national level by receiving an award of this stature”, said Vice President of Safety/HR Todd C. Smith who received the award in Savannah, Georgia in front of the entire captive membership on November 12.
“BCS will continue to deliver Best In Class Service and Value to our clients and constantly seeks ways to improve our Safety Culture for the benefit of our employees and clients.”
