BCS Teams Up with American Constructors to build Highland Lakes High School

Lake Travis ISD’s second high school will be built in Bee Cave, Texas. The campus will accommodate students from grades 9-12. Construction began in early 2026, BCS starts working in May of 2026 and expects to finish the project by September of 2029. The school is projected to open for the 2029 school year.

Sprawling across the 150 acre site, the campus will feature classrooms for 1,500 students, Public event Plaza, Ag Barn, Fine Arts Auditorium, Competition Gym, Practice Fields, Baseball and Softball fields, Tennis courts, a band practice lot, a sub-varsity competition stadium. 

Senior Project Manager, Reed Boyd, said “BCS continues to partner with American Constructors after having recently completed 1111 West 6th Street project, Wildwood Elementary School in Dripping Springs and are currently working on Dripping Springs High School #2.”

The American Constructor’s team includes Project Manager Josh Katkoski, Superintendent Andrew Spitzfaden, and Project Engineer Lowell Stevens.  The BCS team will include General Superintendent Carlos Garcia, Superintendent Jesse Perez and Site Safety Manager Armando Gonzalez.
