When he’s not managing projects at BCS, you’ll likely find Cesar Hernandez fishing, perfecting his brisket, or enjoying life as a father. An East Texas native and Texas State alumnus, Cesar credits his university years with teaching him the art of networking and relationship-building.

“Everyone has problems,” Cesar says. “When you can provide solutions and work together, you build lasting trust with vendors, clients, and GCs alike.”
Since joining BCS in March 2022 as an Assistant Project Manager, Cesar has embraced the daily challenges of the commercial concrete industry, citing the Hutto Co-Op Development as a career highlight for its community impact.
He attributes his growth to his father’s work ethic and the mentorship of Senior PM Reed Boyd. Reed taught me the purpose of being a Project Manager and I will never forget it, “Our job is to make sure you have everything you need to do your job.”
For Cesar, his job is about more than just construction, it’s about patience and integrity. These values hit close to home as he and his fiancée raise their two-year-old and prepare to welcome a second child.
Cesar’s Bucket List:
- Catch a Marlin in Cabo San Lucas
- Travel to Italy
- Own a Ranch
