Employee Spotlight: Meet Brandon Del Frate

We are excited to feature a key member of our pre-construction team who has been helping shape the skyline of Central Texas since 2018. From the technical precision of concrete management to the high-stakes strategy of a poker table, get to know the man behind the bids.

The Professional Journey

A graduate of the Texas State Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program, our featured employee joined BCS in September 2018 as an Estimator. What keeps him driven? The thrill of the chase. He thrives on the competitive nature of pricing and the puzzle of understanding a new project. “My best experiences come when we win a job,” he says. “But even more so, I value the constant evolution. On every project, the designs, people, and processes change. It’s been incredible watching Central Texas transform from Marble Falls to San Antonio, and being a part of that growth is rewarding.” While losing a close bid is his “worst experience,” he views every near-miss as a lesson learned and tries not to take it personally.

Life Outside the Office

When he isn’t analyzing plans, you can likely find him taking care of his family and 9-month-old daughter and pursuing one of his many high-discipline hobbies: Chess, Poker, Jujitsu, Fishing, or Hunting. He’s a man who enjoys the “little things,” like grilling BBQ for friends, but he also has a flair for the adventurous.

Big News & The “Big Catch”

There’s a major milestone on the horizon! After romance and due consideration,” he’s officially decided to “tie the knot.” The big day is set for April 2027, where he and his fiancée will exchange vows on a sun-drenched beach in the Dominican Republic.

How did he know she was “the one”? It all goes back to the first date. After she landed a massive Redfish, he knew she had the “exceptional skills” and spirit to be his lifelong partner.
